Description

High-performance manual transmission gear oil, MTL® 75W80 GL-4, designed to eliminate notchy shifting and provide excellent gear/synchro protection. It is safe for brass synchros, unlike many GL-5 oils. This lubricant is suitable for 75W, 80W gear oil and SAE 30, 10W30, 5W30 motor oil viscosities, and recommended for GL-1, GL-3, and GL-4 applications. Compatible with petroleum and other synthetics. Note: Not for use in differentials with hypoid gears.
