The Red Line 75W140NS GL-5 Gear Oil is a full synthetic gear lubricant designed for specific transmission and differential applications where extreme protection is needed but slipperiness is not desired. It contains essential extreme pressure additives but lacks friction modifiers, making it suitable for certain manual transmissions and clutch-type limited slip differentials in racing applications. This oil is also noted to help with noisy or rough shifting in specific transmissions like the A-833 Dodge/Plymouth 4-speed from 1964-1969.
