Overview

The Red Line 75W90 GL-5 Gear Oil is a full-synthetic lubricant engineered for differentials in passenger cars, light trucks, and racing vehicles. Its formulation utilizes polyol ester/PAO base stocks to provide excellent lubrication under extreme conditions, while ester base stocks and friction modifiers contribute to lower operating temperatures by reducing sliding friction in hypoid gears. This gear oil is designed to exceed API GL-5 specifications, offering superior shear stability and reduced oxidation compared to conventional and other synthetic gear oils.

Engineered for maximum protection and improved differential efficiency, this gear oil leads to better mileage and longer drain intervals with reduced wear. It contains the necessary extreme pressure additives for ultimate protection and friction modifiers (except NS variants) for proper limited-slip operation. The high viscosity-index ensures relatively constant viscosity and film thickness across varying temperatures.
