The HPS Performance Red High Temp 4-ply Reinforced Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit offers a direct replacement for your stock OEM rubber intercooler hoses, which are prone to weakening and failure over time. Constructed from 4-ply reinforced polyester with high-temperature silicone, this hose kit can withstand operating temperatures up to 350 deg. F (177 deg. C). It features all the correct bends and curves for a perfect, direct-fit replacement on your EVO 8 9 MR with the stock intercooler and turbo setup, eliminating the need for cutting or trimming. This ensures an easier installation compared to universal hose options. Included with the kit are 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps, facilitating a secure and straightforward installation process. It's important to note that silicone hose water permeation can be higher than EPDM rubber; therefore, regular checking of the water level is recommended for daily driving vehicles. This specific HPS Performance hose kit is designed to fit the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 9 MR US-Spec models from 2003-2007. Fitment is crucial, and while Fitment Industries and JEGS confirm compatibility with these specific models, buyers are encouraged to verify fitment for their exact vehicle configuration.
