Crafted from genuine, hand-laid dry carbon fiber, this button features a UV clear-coat finish for a durable, high-gloss shine that resists yellowing and weathering. Installation is straightforward, designed as a direct OE replacement that can be completed in 15-30 minutes. The product preserves the 100% OE part, making it fully reversible. For optimal adhesion, it's recommended to install when the surface temperature is above 60°F. For those with ceramic-coated vehicles, the attachment area on the trunk lid must be polished or buffed to remove the ceramic layer before installation, as 3M VHB and primer do not bond reliably to such surfaces. RW Carbon recommends allowing 24 hours of undisturbed time after installation before driving in rain or washing the vehicle to ensure proper adhesion. This carbon fiber part is compatible with a wide range of BMW models from 2015 to 2025, including various 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 8 Series, M2, M3, M4, M8, X3, X4, X5, X6, and Z4 variants. It is important to note that this specific part is shaped for the F80 M3's factory trunk lid and is not compatible with F30 models, for which RW Carbon offers separate trunk spoilers.
