REDARC BCDC Alpha100 R 12V 100A Battery Management System

The BCDC Alpha100 R is a 12V, 100A DC-DC battery charger ideal for recreational vehicles like caravans, camper trailers, and 4x4s. It combines DC and solar charging to extend adventure time. It is not suitable for engine bay installation. This advanced charger keeps both start and secondary batteries charged. Its built-in Green Power Priority™ minimizes alternator load by prioritizing solar input, saving fuel. When paired with the Smart Battery Monitor, it differentiates current to the battery from current to system loads. If the charge current is below maximum, it uses the surplus to power system loads directly, reducing battery reliance and extending its lifespan. It automatically adjusts its charge mode for maximum efficiency and can revive and charge fully flattened lithium batteries. It can also recover a flat start battery for safe vehicle starting. Features include screw connections for easy installation, remote monitoring and control via the RedVision app (Bluetooth), and input current limiting to protect alternators, making it suitable for hybrid and electric vehicles with low surplus current. It also offers future-proof charging with over-the-air updates.
