Description

The Weber Redline K1317 carburetor kit provides a dual 40 IDF setup for Volkswagen Type 1 engines. This conversion kit is engineered for displacements between 1600cc and 1915cc, offering enhanced performance for vehicles like the 1971-1979 Beetle and Karmann Ghia. The comprehensive kit includes the 40 IDF 70 XE carburetor, a dedicated manifold, linkage system, air filter assembly, and all required gaskets and hardware for installation. This kit is specifically designed for Type 1 dual port engines. However, it will fit Type 3 Fastback and Notchback models that utilize a Type 1 (upright style) engine. It is important to note that this kit will not fit Squareback models or Type 3s equipped with a pancake-style engine.
