The Cobb Tuning Redline Carbon Fiber Intake is engineered to enhance the performance and aesthetics of the 2022-2023 Volkswagen GTI Mk8. This construction ensures a premium look and feel within the engine bay, complemented by a bespoke black Redline badge. The system utilizes one of Cobb's largest oiled filters, feeding air through a velocity stack directly into a robust turbo inlet. This turbo inlet is made from wire-reinforced black silicone and features integrated, hidden air-pump and vacuum ports, sealed with black anodized clamps for a sleek installation. Additionally, a custom coolant recirculation hose with a check valve is included to prevent turbo backflow and maintain a clean appearance. Cobb emphasizes that this intake system has been developed to upgrade the restrictive factory intake, offering improved airflow and a visually appealing addition to the engine bay. The carbon fiber parts are hand-laid, and slight imperfections or weave pattern variances may be expected. Installation of this kit will require custom tuning or utilizing an appropriate Stage Power Package map if you have a matching mechanical configuration.
