Description

The COBB Short Ram SF Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow and enhance performance for Subaru WRX (2002-2007) and STI (2004-2007) models, as well as the Forester XT (2004-2008). This intake system removes pre-turbo restrictions found in the stock setup, utilizing a CFD-designed velocity stack and an airflow straightener grid to smooth air entering the Mass Air Flow sensor for more precise readings. The one-piece intake utilizes a high-temperature plastic composite body, which aids in reducing heat transfer and saving weight. It is intended for use with a stock tune or COBB Off The Shelf Maps that are included with the Accessport. The system includes a custom conical cloth air filter that is pre-oiled, cleanable, and reusable. This part is CARB legal for sale and use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all 50 states, with California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) numbers D-660 and D-660-102.
