Redstuff Ceramic Front Brake Pads

The EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic Low Dust Brake Pads are a performance upgrade for the rear of select vehicles. These pads are constructed from a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, offering a significant improvement over previous EBC Redstuff generations. A key benefit of the Redstuff pads is their low dust output, reducing dust by 60-90% compared to other pads. The minimal dust produced is easily removable and does not contain steel fiber particles. Featuring an EBC Brake-In surface coating, these pads help condition the rotor surface and accelerate the bed-in period, which can require up to 1000 miles for optimal performance as the pads conform to the rotor shape. They are engineered for a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and offer approximately 50% dust reduction. These pads have been proven to stop a passenger car 13 meters quicker than OEM pads from 100 mph. Most EBC Red Ceramic pads meet ECE R90 brake safety regulation standards. The DP31160C model is compatible with various Chevrolet Corvette (C5 and C6 Base) and Cadillac XLR models from 1997 through 2013, and also fits 2003-2004 Cadillac XLR 4.6L. The set includes pads for two wheels and comes with a 1-year or 10,000-mile factory EBC warranty.
