The EBC Brakes DP32149C Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are a high-performance upgrade for the front of your vehicle, offering a significant improvement in stopping power and a reduction in brake dust. These pads are specifically formulated with a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, which provides excellent braking force from cold and improves as temperatures rise. This makes them ideal for fast road use and repeated heavy braking. The minimal dust produced is easily removed with a simple wash, as it contains no steel fiber particles. The material is also noted for being quieter and longer-lasting than previous EBC Redstuff compounds. The pads are designed to work effectively with OEM calipers and are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation. While offering impressive performance, the Redstuff pads are a hard-wearing compound that requires a patient bedding-in period, which can extend up to 1000 miles. During this time, it is important for the pads to conform to the shape of the brake rotor. EBC includes their Brake-In surface coating to help condition the rotor surface and accelerate this critical bed-in phase. These brake pads are specifically designed for the Ford Fiesta ST models from 2014-2019, equipped with the 1.6L turbocharged engine. They feature a vented rotor interface, 4 bolt holes, and have dimensions of 44mm height and 23mm thickness, with a 278mm rotor diameter.
