Redstuff Front Brake Pads

The EBC Redstuff Ceramic Front Brake Pads are engineered as EBC’s flagship street brake pad material for prestige and faster cars, setting new standards in brake performance. Featuring a superb aramid fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads offer a significant upgrade over previous Redstuff formulations, providing better braking, longer life, and quieter operation. The minimal dust produced is easily removed and does not contain steel fiber particles. They deliver excellent braking from cold, comparable to or better than original pads, and improve as they heat up. EBC claims a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and approximately 50% dust reduction. Technical information highlights a hard-wearing pad that requires a bed-in period of up to 1000 miles as it takes up the shape of the disc. They have been proven to stop passenger cars 13 meters quicker from 100 mph than OEM pads. Features include EBC's "Brake-In" surface coating to condition the rotor and accelerate pad bed-in. The pads are ECE R90 approved and sold as a set of two. It's important to note that EBC Redstuff pads are not recommended for track use. They self-bed during the first 100-150 miles of street driving. For optimal balanced brake performance, EBC Redstuff should be used on both the front and rear axles.
