Redstuff Front Brake Pads

The EBC Redstuff brake pads are a premium street pad utilizing a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles. They offer a significant upgrade over previous EBC Redstuff compounds, providing longer life, better braking, and quieter operation. They are designed to stop a passenger car or sport compact up to 13 meters quicker than OEM pads from 100 mph. The ceramic composition results in significantly reduced dust (50-90% less than semi-metallic pads) and the dust produced is easily cleaned without steel fiber particles. These pads feature EBC's Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface to accelerate the bed-in process. While they offer immediate improvement, a full bed-in can take up to 1000 miles, requiring driver patience as the pads conform to the rotor shape. The nominal friction coefficient is 0.5. EBC Redstuff pads are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulation and come with a 1-year or 10,000-mile factory EBC warranty. They are ideal for European vehicle brake upgrades and are suitable for normal commute and performance street driving.
