Description

The ARP LSx Cam Bolt Kit (134-1003) provides a solution for ensuring precise camshaft timing and preventing timing gear slippage in GM LS engines. Constructed from high-strength materials, these bolts are available in kits rated at 170,000 psi for high-performance needs and 190,000 psi for Pro Series applications, offering robust performance for demanding setups. The design also features a reduced head size, simplifying the installation and removal process for mechanics and enthusiasts alike. This kit is specifically designed for Gen III/Gen IV LS engines, including popular models like the LS1, LS2, LS3, LQ4, and LQ9, covering displacement ranges from 4.8L to 7.0L. Installation instructions recommend lubricating the bolt threads and underside of the bolt head with ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant, followed by torquing the bolts to 25 ft-lbs.
