The Infinity Reference 1270 is a 12-inch car audio subwoofer engineered to deliver enhanced efficiency and high output for powerful bass performance. INFINITY utilizes progressive spiders, which provide superior control at the excursion limits compared to commonly used linear spiders, resulting in a more controlled woofer stroke and tighter bass characteristics. Constructed with a polypropylene cone, rubber surround, and a proprietary cone design, this Reference Series subwoofer is built for durability and optimal sound reproduction. It features a 1.12-inch high-temperature voice coil and offers 10.25 mm of Xmax for extended excursion and deep bass. The exclusive SSI™ (Smart Selectable Impedance) switch provides flexibility by allowing you to select either 2-ohm or 4-ohm impedance, maximizing compatibility with various amplifier setups. With a power handling capability of 1100 watts peak and 275 watts RMS, the Reference 1270 is designed to produce a sensitivity of 93 dB. The mounting depth is 6-1/2 inches, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicle applications.
