This shock absorber is tuned for sports performance, aiming to deliver superior ride quality and handling. Internally, the GT Sport utilizes an exclusive twin disc design and a revolutionary disc valve system. This technology allows for precise metering of oil flow based on driving conditions, affecting both compression and rebound. At low piston speeds, oil flow is limited for a firm and stable rate, aiding in confident cornering and overtaking. When higher piston speeds are encountered, such as during sharp cornering, pothole impact, or emergency braking, an intermediate disc is activated to increase oil flow. This results in greater vehicle stability and more compliant road holding, ensuring the vehicle handles various conditions safely and predictably. The shock absorber features a Teflon-banded piston for smooth operation and increased compression travel.
