The Nismo Reinforced Release Pivot is a high-strength performance component engineered as a direct replacement for the standard OEM release pivot ball. By utilizing a robust chrome-molybdenum construction, it offers a significant increase in material strength compared to factory carbon steel units. This upgrade is essential for maintaining transmission reliability when using high-performance or stage 3 aftermarket clutch assemblies, which exert additional stress on the release mechanism. Each unit features a thread size of M10xP1.5 with a total length of 41mm and includes a flat washer for installation. This component is compatible with a wide range of Nissan platforms including the S13, S14, and S15 Silvia, 180SX, Skyline R31-R34, and various Bluebird, Cefiro, and Laurel models equipped with push-type transmissions. Please note that compatibility is based on JDM specifications; users should conduct their own research to confirm fitment for specific regional vehicle variations. Professional installation is recommended, typically involving removal of the transmission for proper access.
