This unit is built around a Ford 8.8-inch ring gear and features a 2.73 gear ratio with Posi Traction for enhanced performance. During the remanufacturing process, every axle assembly undergoes a thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including the ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested.
