Reman Axle Assembly 3.55 Posi-Traction

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a comprehensively rebuilt differential designed for Ford 8.8-inch ring gear axles. It comes equipped with a 3.55 gear ratio and Posi-Traction for improved grip and performance. This unit features a U-Joint style pinion yoke and is specified as being without ABS functionality. It is important to note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain employs a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing procedure to ensure all housings are returned to their original OEM finish. Every assembly undergoes a rigorous inspection of all internal parts, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. Furthermore, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new components. The axle tubes are also inspected and straightened to meet OEM specifications. Correct rolling torque is meticulously established using inch-pound measurements to guarantee precise setup and promote longevity. This specific axle assembly is noted to fit 1987-1989 Ford Bronco and F-150 models.
