Reman Axle Assembly 4.10 Posi Traction SRW

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a remanufactured unit for the Ford 10.5-inch axle, specifically designed for 2000-2001 F350 trucks with Single Rear Wheels (SRW) and a 4.10 gear ratio. This assembly features a Posi Traction (LSD) differential, ensuring reliable power delivery. Key steps include inspecting and straightening axle tubes to OEM specifications, testing housings for cracks and surface wear, and conducting a 100% inspection of all internal parts such as ring and pinion gears, clutch assemblies, and carriers. To guarantee performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are also professionally cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to an OEM finish. Precision setup is achieved by establishing the correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. This axle assembly is built to order and has a core charge. It does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately. Customers are advised to check the tag number (S161H) to ensure proper fitment.
