The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a fully remanufactured unit designed as a direct replacement for 1988-1999 GM 1500 4WD trucks. This assembly is built with a 4.10 gear ratio, utilizing a GM 10-bolt 8.5-inch ring gear and 30-spline axles. Zumbrota Drivetrain's state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process restores all housings to their original OEM finish, while also inspecting them for surface wear and cracks. All internal components, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are subjected to thorough inspection and testing. To guarantee optimal performance, this axle assembly includes a 100% replacement of all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. The rolling torque is precisely established using inch-pound measurements for setup accuracy and extended service life. The tubes are also inspected to ensure they are straightened to OEM specifications.
