Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assy is a fully remanufactured rear axle assembly built for 2009 GM Van 3500 models equipped with the 9.5" ring gear and a 4.10 ratio. The remanufacturing process involves a comprehensive inspection and refurbishment of all components. Tubes are straightened to meet OEM specifications, and housings undergo testing for surface wear and cracks to ensure structural integrity. Internally, all parts, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carrier, are subjected to a 100% inspection. To guarantee optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to an OEM finish. Precise setup is achieved through establishing correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements.
