Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a meticulously remanufactured unit designed for the Dana 80 differential, specifically for 1996-2002 GM 3500 models with a 4.63 gear ratio, 2WD, DRW, Wrecker configuration, and Posi-Traction limited-slip differential. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Every internal component, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutch, and carrier, undergoes a 100% inspection. To ensure longevity and precision, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are hydro-blasted to restore them to an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for a precision setup. This axle assembly is built to order and ships when ready, with options for same-day dispatch and expedited shipping available at checkout.
