This unit features a 3.73 gear ratio and Posi Traction, with an 11.25-inch ring gear diameter, designed specifically for dual rear wheel applications and equipped with a U-joint style yoke. The tag numbers for this assembly include 606226-1, 606310-1, 606611-3, 606614-4, and 606781-1. Every axle assembly is thoroughly inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Critical internal components such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers undergo 100% inspection. To guarantee performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The process includes straightening axle tubes to OEM specifications and establishing correct rolling torque with inch-pound measurements for precise setup.
