Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to the highest quality standards. Each assembly is inspected for straightness, cracks, and wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, gears, clutches, carriers) are inspected and tested. All bearings & seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Correct gear backlash is set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected to meet OEM straightness standards. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning.
