Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to high-quality standards. Each assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and wear. All internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are 100% replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact and correct rolling torque, with precise backlash settings for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected for OEM straightness. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. Units are shipped in high-density plastic totes to prevent transit damage.
