The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assy is a fully remanufactured unit designed for GM 14 Bolt Trucks, specifically models from 1990-2000. This axle assembly is built to rigorous standards, ensuring all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and all housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. The internal components undergo a 100% inspection, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. This particular assembly boasts a 3.42 gear ratio with a 10.5-inch ring gear, suitable for Dual Rear Wheels (DRW) and featuring the Wide Trac Option GTY. It is equipped with the G80 Posi Traction limited-slip differential for enhanced grip and performance. Note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately. During the remanufacturing process, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are then meticulously cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish.
