The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assy is a remanufactured rear differential assembly built to OEM specifications. Each unit undergoes a rigorous inspection process, including testing of housings for wear and cracks, and 100% inspection of all internal components such as ring and pinion gears, carriers, and clutches. All necessary wear items, including bearings, seals, pinion nuts, and shims, are replaced with new parts. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish. Precision setup and longevity are ensured by establishing correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. This specific assembly, part number RAA435-2257C-P, is designed for GM 10 Bolt 8.6 Inch Ring Gear applications and features a 3.73 gear ratio with G80 Posi Traction. It is compatible with models that include JF3 or JL7 brake options but specifically excludes models with the JL4 active brake control option. The GT4 option is included. This axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately.
