Reman Axle Assy 3.73 Ratio G80 Posi Traction

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assy is a rebuilt and remanufactured axle assembly designed for GM 7.5" applications, specifically for the 2003 GMC Astro and Safari Van models with a 3.73 ratio and Posi Limited Slip Differential (G80). The remanufacturing process includes a thorough inspection of all housing components for surface wear and cracks, ensuring tubes are straightened to OEM specifications. Internally, 100% of parts, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutch, and carrier, are inspected. Furthermore, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new components. The housings are then cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish. Precision setup and longevity are assured by establishing the correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. This axle assembly is configured with a 3.73 gear ratio (GT4 option, ID ND3) and utilizes a GM 7.6-inch ring gear. It is equipped with G80 Posi Traction for enhanced grip. The rear driveshaft connection requires two different sized U-joints. Please note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
