The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1996F-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly for Chrysler 8.25" rear differentials. It is designed for 2000-2002 Dodge Dakota 2wd models with a 3.92 gear ratio, a sway bar, and Posi-Traction (LSD). The assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal parts, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo 100% inspection. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. Housings are cleaned using a hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore an OEM finish. Correct rolling torque is established for precision setup and longevity.
