Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are remanufactured to the highest quality standards, ensuring precision and reliability. Each assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, utilizing inch-pound measurements for precise setup and longevity. Correct gear backlash is set to ensure proper gear lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected to meet OEM standards of straightness. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, setting the industry standard for axle assembly remanufacturing. This particular assembly features a 3.73 ratio and includes Posi Traction (limited-slip differential). It is designed for Dual Rear Wheel (DRW) Cab Chassis models with the Wide Axle Package.
