Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to high standards of precision and reliability. Each assembly is thoroughly inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, carriers) are fully inspected and tested. All bearings & seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, with backlash set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected for OEM straightness. Zumbrota uses a hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning for parts.
