Description

Remanufactured Axle Assembly for a Ford 8.8 Inch axle, with a 3.08 gear ratio and Posi Traction. Rebuilt to high quality standards, inspected for straightness, cracks, surface wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, carriers) inspected and tested. All bearings & seals replaced. Gears inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Correct gear backlash set. Axle tubes inspected to OEM standards. Uses hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. Does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
