This is a remanufactured complete axle assembly by Zumbrota, designed for GM 14 Bolt Trucks, specifically 1990-2000 GM 3500 Pickup models with a 4.10 gear ratio, 2WD, and Single Rear Wheels (SRW). It features a 10.5-inch ring gear and a 14-bolt cover. The assembly is rebuilt to high-quality standards, with thorough inspections for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. Bearings and seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, and backlash is set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected for OEM straightness. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning. This particular assembly does not include posi traction and is for models except those with 9-92 GVW.
