This remanufactured rear axle assembly by Zumbrota Drivetrain (Yukon) is designed for GM 14 Bolt 10.5 Inch Ring Gear applications in 1990-2000 Chevrolet and GMC 3500 series pickup trucks with Dual Rear Wheels (DRW), a straight frame, and without the Wide Trac Option GTY (Ratio Option GT4). It features a 3.73 gear ratio and an open differential. The assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. Each unit undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process including inspection and straightening of tubes to OEM specifications, testing of housings for surface wear and cracks, and 100% inspection of all internal parts (Ring & Pinion, Internal Gears, Clutches & Carriers). All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Housings are hydro-blasted and rinsed to achieve an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established for precision setup and longevity.
