The Zumbrota Drivetrain Remanufactured Complete Axle Assembly, RAA435-1795A, is a 7.5-inch GM axle assembly for 1995-1997 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. It features a 2.73 gear ratio, disc brakes, and traction control (Trac Control) option NW9, with ratio option GU2. It does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. Rebuilt to high-quality standards, the assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, carriers) are inspected and tested. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are 100% replaced. Gears are set for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Axle tubes are inspected to OEM standards for straightness. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process.
