The Zumbrota Drivetrain Remanufactured Rear Axle Assembly (RAA435-2041D-P) is built for GM 8.6-inch rear ends, specifically for 2005 GM 1500 SUV models. It features a 3.23 gear ratio and a Posi (limited-slip) differential. This 2WD assembly does not include active brake control. Each axle assembly undergoes rigorous inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are set with optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. The axle tubes are inspected to ensure OEM standards of straightness.
