The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Complete Axle Assembly is a precision-rebuilt unit for Chrysler 8.25" differentials, specifically designed for 1989-1990 Dodge Dakota 4x4 models equipped with ABS. This assembly boasts a 3.90 gear ratio and Posi-Traction limited-slip capabilities, ensuring enhanced traction and performance. Every axle assembly undergoes a rigorous inspection process, including checks for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested to meet the highest quality standards. During the remanufacturing process, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and precise rolling torque. The gear backlash is set correctly to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation.
