Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a comprehensive, remanufactured differential unit engineered for the demanding needs of 1990-1991 GM 3500 Pickup trucks. This assembly is built around the robust Dana 70HD axle, featuring a 4.10 gear ratio for optimal torque multiplication and a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD) to ensure superior traction in various conditions. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, housings are tested for wear and cracks, and 100% of internal parts, including Ring & Pinion, gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo thorough inspection. To ensure longevity and precision, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced, and correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements. This particular assembly is the axle assembly only and does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. The housing undergoes a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore it to an OEM finish.
