Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a fully remanufactured rear axle assembly engineered for 1999-2000 Ford F350 trucks with Single Rear Wheels (SRW). This unit features a Ford 10.5-inch ring gear and a 3.73 gear ratio, identified by tag numbers S460C, S460E, or S460F. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure the highest standards of precision and reliability. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Zumbrota Drivetrain conducts a 100% inspection of all internal parts, including the ring & pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new components. The housing is meticulously cleaned using a hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore it to an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for precision setup and longevity.
