The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Rear Axle Assy is a meticulously rebuilt rear axle assembly designed for GM 10 Bolt 8.5 inch differentials. This unit features a 3.08 gear ratio, making it suitable for specific performance and driving characteristics. It is engineered for 28 spline axles and is designed for vehicles without Posi Traction. Please note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, and these components will need to be sourced separately. The axle assembly is remanufactured to high standards, with thorough inspection of all internal components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are meticulously set for optimal tooth contact patterns, correct rolling torque, and proper backlash to ensure longevity and quiet operation.
