Reman Rear Axle Assembly 3.73 Ratio G80 Posi Traction

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assy is a fully remanufactured rear axle assembly designed for 2004-2007 Chevrolet Colorado and Canyon 2WD models. This assembly features a 3.73 gear ratio with an AAM 8-inch ring gear and a 10-bolt cover. It is equipped with a G80 Posi Traction (LSD) for improved traction. The unit is built to stringent OEM specifications, undergoing a 100% inspection of all internal components, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutch, and carrier. All housings are hydro-blasted to restore an OEM finish and tested for wear and cracks. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are 100% replaced, and correct rolling torque is precisely established for optimal setup and longevity. Technical notes specify that this axle assembly is for models without the Z71 off-road chassis package or the Z85 increased capacity chassis package, but it is compatible with the ZQ8 sport chassis package. The ratio option is GT4. It's important to note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately.
