The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Rear Axle Assembly is a professionally rebuilt unit for GM 14 Bolt 3500 Pickup trucks manufactured between 1990 and 2000. This specific assembly is configured with a 4.10 gear ratio and a Posi-traction differential, designed for dual rear wheel (DRW) applications. It is built to factory specifications, excluding wide track options, and ensures correct rolling torque is established using precise inch-pound measurements for optimal setup and extended lifespan. During the remanufacturing process, all housings are thoroughly inspected for surface wear and cracks, and tubes are straightened to OEM specifications. The internal components, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carrier, undergo a 100% inspection. Crucially, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to guarantee performance and durability. The housings are also cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to their original OEM finish.
