The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a thoroughly reconditioned rear axle assembly built for Dana 60 applications. This axle assembly features a 3.54 gear ratio, a 9.75-inch ring gear, and a 10-bolt cover, suitable for 5500 lb axle capacities. It comes equipped with Posi Traction, enhancing grip and handling. The remanufacturing process involves rigorous inspection and replacement of worn components to meet or exceed OEM standards. All tubes are inspected for straightness, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carriers, are subjected to a 100% inspection. To ensure longevity and proper function, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Housings are cleaned via a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to an OEM finish.
