This Zumbrota Drivetrain remanufactured complete axle assembly is designed for Chrysler 8.25" rear axles found in 2007-2010 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee models with a 3.07 gear ratio and Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD). Each axle assembly undergoes a rigorous rebuilding process to ensure precision and reliability. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are 100% inspected, with all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims being replaced. The housings are meticulously cleaned using a hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish. Correct rolling torque and gear backlash are established for precise setup, optimal gear lubrication, and quiet operation.
