The AX15 is a fully remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission designed for 1989-1991 Jeep Wrangler models. It features front and rear cases with an aluminum center plate, a 0.59-inch pilot tip, and an internal slave cylinder. This transmission undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process, including teardown, triple cleaning, and inspection of all parts to meet or exceed OEM specifications.

The AX15 is a fully remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission specifically for 1989-1991 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. This unit is built with front and rear cases, an aluminum center plate, a 0.59-inch pilot tip, and an internal slave cylinder, with a Hollander Number of 400-02330. Each transmission is disassembled, triple-cleaned, and inspected. New or re-machined parts are used, with gear wear and mainshaft straightness tested. Clutch disc synchronizers, selector forks, and flywheels are re-machined or replaced as needed to meet OEM specifications. To guarantee performance, all remanufactured transmissions are put through custom dyno testing, simulating real-world scenarios. This ensures the unit is ready for immediate use upon installation. Please note that this product is intended for the specified Jeep Wrangler models. If purchasing for a swap application, be aware that cores for these transmissions are rare, and failure to provide a compatible core may result in the full core charge being applied.
