The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMTS6-650F-2 is a remanufactured S6-S650F manual transmission, engineered for Ford 2001-2003 F250, F350, F450, and F550 Super Duty pickups equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine and a 4x4 drivetrain. This 6-speed transmission is built with robust ZF components, featuring integral bell housing, a 5.79 low gear ratio, and a 0.72 overdrive gear ratio. It includes a 24-spline output shaft designed for high torque applications. Every Zumbrota transmission undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to meet strict quality standards. This involves a 100% inspection of all internal parts, including detailed checks for gear wear, mainshaft straightness, and synchronizer functionality. A second inspection is performed during the remanufacturing to ensure all components meet OEM specifications, followed by a final post-build inspection. All transmissions are dyno-tested and run through numerous real-life scenarios to guarantee performance and reliability.
