The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-1371D is a remanufactured complete axle assembly engineered for GM 7.2 IFS vehicles, specifically the 2002-2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy models with a 3.42 gear ratio (GU6 option). This axle assembly is rebuilt to exacting standards, beginning with a comprehensive inspection of housings for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, Zumbrota Drivetrain replaces all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. The gears are set for correct rolling torque and backlash using precise inch-pound measurements, ensuring proper gear lubrication and quiet operation. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on all internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-peened deep cleaning process. This meticulous remanufacturing process ensures the axle assembly meets OEM standards for straightness and overall quality.
