The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2111E is a remanufactured axle assembly designed to restore reliable drivetrain performance for select GM vehicles. This unit is built with a 2.73 gear ratio and features a 7.6-inch ring gear, incorporating the G80 Posi Traction differential for enhanced grip. This specific axle assembly is intended for 1985 through 1989 model year GMC Astro and Safari Vans. It is constructed with fiberglass leaf springs and does not have ABS sensors on the rear housing. The ratio option designation is GU2. All axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, while housings are rigorously tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo a 100% inspection.
