Overview

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1965A is a remanufactured axle assembly for GM 7.5-inch rear ends. It features a 3.08 gear ratio and is designed for 1998-2003 Chevy S10 and S15 2WD models with the ZQ8 chassis package. This assembly includes a 100% inspection of all internal parts and a 100% replacement of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims.

All tubes are inspected for straightness and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. The housings are hydro blasted and rinsed to restore OEM finish, with correct rolling torque established for precision setup and longevity. This unit does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1965A is a remanufactured complete axle assembly engineered for GM 7.5-inch 10-bolt rear differentials. It features a 3.08 gear ratio (GU4 option) and is specifically designed for 1998-2003 Chevrolet S10 and GMC Sonoma 2WD models equipped with the ZQ8 chassis package. This axle assembly is built to stringent quality standards, ensuring precision and reliability. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected for straightness and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Every internal component, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, and clutches, undergoes a 100% inspection. Furthermore, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are meticulously cleaned using a hydro blasting process to return them to their original OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established for optimal setup and extended longevity. This remanufactured axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, and it is configured without Posi Traction. A refundable core charge of $400 applies, which is returned upon receipt of your old, salvageable part.
